ARTIST BIOGRAPHY.
Abigail Gampel is a performing artist who writes/creates many of her own works; Through The Window; Images Through Silk; I Slept with a Beautiful Woman this Afternoon; and Underground Goddess; performed at The Public, The Nuyorican, The West Bank Cafe, HERE, The Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Ohio; etc.. She loved playing Julie in Showboat at the Gateway Playhouse; Virginia Hill in Flesh and the Desert with SPF, Alice Russell in Lizzie Borden- A Rock n Roll Musical and Elektra in The Elektra Fugues, both at HERE. She serves on the Board of both The Ensemble Studio Theatre and HERE Arts Center - She is a Roots of Empathy Instructor at CS 44 in the Bronx, and on the School Leadership Team at PS87 in Manhattan - beginning a Composting and Recycling Program there with the 900+ kids. She helps others find their authentic voice as they create original work - and is a coach for monologues, scenes and songs.

I can think I’m sitting in my own little world, but the truth is we affect each other, it’s all interrelated. What our government does on the other side of the world is going to have repercussions on you and I started to realize, it’s time to take responsibility.
